The legal age to register a business with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority, or Acra, is 21 years.
Are there financial grants or schemes?
The Entrepreneurship Talent Development Fund (ETDF) is a seed investment to help students of participating polytechnics and universities with sound business plans and innovative products and services get initial funding.
The fund contributes $3 for every $1 put in by the student business venture and a matching $1 from the school.
The maximum grant allocation per student venture is $50,000.
