In a desperate bid to get their rather reluctant panda Chuang Chuang to mate with its female partner, zoo officials in the northern Thai province of Chiang Mai have resorted to showing it a video tape of its fellow pandas in the act itself.

Chuang Chuang and its supposed mate Lin Hui were 'rented' from China in 2003 for US$250,000 (S$380,000) for a period of 10 years. But the male panda has so far been unwilling to carry out its duties, thus the visual encouragement.
